Tania Awarded Prestigious Artist Residency at Château de Cerisay, France

We are thrilled to announce that Tania has been selected to participate in the highly regarded Atelier Artist in Residence program at Château de Cerisay, France.

This internationally recognised residency brings together a carefully curated group of artists from diverse disciplines, including painting, photography, writing, music, textiles, digital arts, and more. Each residency cohort is selected through a competitive application process, with artists chosen for their talent, commitment to creative practice, and potential for artistic growth.

Set in the historic Château de Cerisay in the French countryside, the residency provides artists with two weeks of dedicated creative time in an inspiring environment designed to foster focus, experimentation, and meaningful artistic development. The château offers a unique setting where artists can step away from the demands of everyday life and immerse themselves fully in their work while connecting with fellow creatives from around the world.

Adding to this exciting achievement, Tania has also been awarded a grant from the Gold Coast City Council to support her participation in the residency. This funding recognises the value of artistic development and cultural exchange, helping local artists engage with international opportunities that contribute to both their personal practice and the broader creative community.

The residency will provide Tania with the opportunity to develop new work, explore fresh ideas, and draw inspiration from the rich cultural and historical landscape of France. The experience will also enable valuable connections with an international network of artists, fostering future collaborations and creative dialogue.

"Tania's selection for Atelier Artist in Residence represents an exciting milestone in her artistic journey. Being chosen for such a competitive program, combined with the support of the Gold Coast City Council grant, is a wonderful recognition of her dedication and creative achievements."

We look forward to sharing updates from France and following the evolution of the work created during this remarkable residency experience.
